This piece features variations of the sound of walking on gravel; some are heavily treated with effects. Also, there is a guitar loop that enters part way through. This is very much inspired by my early morning walks, where I think about things and just observe the way the early morning light makes everything have a glow and vibrancy. A sense of freshness around things I see daily helps give new perspective, as does just enjoying the wildlife moving about. Seeing the world begin a day is always calming and a bit inspirational. The gravel is noisy but also nice-sounding, a percussive accompaniment to the stroll.
