The track is inspired by the famous section "Death by Water" from T. S. Eliot's "The Waste Land", and his voice reading the poem is the only sample used not coming from water.
The rest of the track is based on processed field recordings of water I made, and the idea was to build a sort of soundtrack where water in different forms (from streams to lakes, sea and heavy rain) creates a sort of world of its own.
The development of the track leads to a sort of dismemberment of a water surface, until it is scattered in many independent drops.
