If you follow the Histamine Tapes Instagram, you may have seen some videos I posted of a recording session I had back toward the end of March. This was before the state of Vermont went into lock down from COVID-19, but it was easy to see we were headed in that direction. My partner and daughter were out of town for a week visiting family in Maine (hence the extended period of recording). Meanwhile I was trying to avoid news of Italian's not being aloud to leave there houses and similar lock downs and stay at home orders spread across the world and the country. I recorded improvised accordion in fits between bouts or anxiety that maybe my family would get trapped in Maine during the pandemic.

I posted videos of some of my output, which inspired Jacob to approach me about a collab. I sent him five pieces of improvised accordion. In a state of depression he recorded electric bass parts. He then mixed and mastered them. The end result is something I'm proud to share with you.
