More than a decage ago, Jason Engling recorded a long form improvisation session. During this session he used acoustic instruments and other organic noises further manipulated with a sampler. This recording was then burned to CDR and mailed to Eric Bertrand. The disc sat unattended to and lonely for many years, fermenting and gaining dusty and moldy character. Snap to 2018 when the disc was rediscovered in a box and all of its audio contents loaded into a DAW where it was further manipulated using Freeware plugins. The result is 13 min of audio sculpture done in two stages with lots of time and experience in between.
