I recorded this during a brief break from traditional composition. Initially the material was entirely scored on paper and I had begun to record different keyboard parts and drum machines, but found that the music I had written wasn’t matching the original goal of the project. So I restarted - initially with recordings I had made during my work as a music teacher. With those samples as my baseline I found myself with what feels to me as an audio documentary of the past few months of my life.
